Netflix Pick of the Week

This week on netflix we have been very entertained by a netflix original called Orange is the new black which is created by Jenji Kohan who created weeds.  It is a comedy drama, our favorite, about a woman named Piper Chapman (played by Taylor Schilling) who turns herself into jail for smuggling drug money for her girlfriend, that's right I said girlfriend.  Seems as though Piper used to be a lesbian and during that time she is helping her lesbian girlfriend Alex (played by Laura Prepon) who you might remember from that 70's show, smuggle drug money and of course they get caught.  Piper skips court and jail for 10 years and during that time she gets a boyfriend, apparently being a les didn't work out that well and because she wants to clear her plate and conscious she decides to turn herself into the woman's correctional facility.   Of course the ex girlfriend is in jail with Piper so that puts an interesting spin on the whole thing.  I honestly feel bad for Pipers boyfriend. Larry (played by Jason Biggs) You might remember him from American pie  Poor guy is waiting miserably for his fiancé to get out of prison and I believe she is in prison for a full year.  He proposes to her before she goes in and she accepts but every episode it seems that he is really regretting that decision.  After all he has to go to bed alone at night while Piper is doing who knows what with her ex girlfriend in prison.   The whole show is great because it really develops the characters and tells a great story.  It's funny and witty and very entertaining and Alex is one hot lesbian.  Yummy!!

This weeks website is called stumble upon.com and it is the bomb!!  It is sort of like pinterest but better. There is more variety, more crazy stuff to read, and learn, and look at and it is super fun!!  You can customize your profile so stumble gives you things that you are interested in.  We have come across some of the craziest art and all sorts of awesome recipe blogs and different entertainment ideas.  Honestly it is AWESOME!! 

Urban Dictionary word:  Inmate

Someone in prison, they usually hate the clothes they wear due to their unoriginality. Making fun of them will get you spat at or murdered.
