This week we watched an oldie but a goodie with the kids.  Drop dead Fred.  We watched this movie so many times when we were younger but our kids have never seen it.  It is pretty hilarious.   British comedian Rik Mayall stars as the title character, a happy, anarchic and mischievous imaginary friend of a young girl named Elizabeth (Pheobe Cates) and arch nemesis of her overbearing mother Polly (Marsha Mason). Drop Dead Fred causes chaos around the home and neighborhood, but nobody can see Fred except Elizabeth. When Elizabeth grows up and has an emotional crisis, Fred returns to "cheer her up" in his own unique way, causing more chaos than ever before.   

  Fred is a total freak.  He is pretty funny.  He hates Lizzies mother because her mother is such a bitch.  Fred is always causing a whole bunch of chaos and Lizzie is the one who is getting blamed for it because noone can see her imaginary friend Fred.  

One of our favorite parts was when Fred comes into the house with dog shit all over his shoes and goes into Lizzies mothers living room which has just had the carpet cleaned and he rubs the dog shit all over the carpet and furniture.  It is soooo funny

This weeks website is very helpful.  It is called drinkify.org.  You type in the name of whatever artist you are listening to and it will tell you the best drink to make while you are enjoying your favorite jam sessions.

  We looked up bob marley and it gave me this drink recipe:

“THE BOB MARLEY”

• 10 oz. Marijuana
• 10 oz. Club-Mate
• 6 oz. Kirsch

Combine in shaker and strain into cocktail glass. Serve. Stir vigorously. Garnish with national flag.

And it also plays you a song to listen to while you are making up yo drink

Now that sounds like a nice stoney drink.  Drink up friends!
