I grew up in a small hick town named Homedale in Idaho. I could not wait to get the hell out of there and so as soon as I turned 18 I did. I went around and traveled until I finally found a place to plant my roots in Maui, HI.
For the past 6 years or so I’ve been doing massage (or rubbin butts as I like to call it). Ive got a really great family; I am so grateful every day for the tremendous amounts of support they give me.
Gardening is one of my favorite past times. I love sticking my hands into the warm dirt and giving back to the Mother Earth by growing food that is rich in nutrients for my body. Its a wonderful feeling to serve your family with the food you grew.
Music has always been such an awesome outlet for me. Hip-hop and rap are my go to styles of music, but I love reggae, folk, string band, some alternative, I love the blues, dub step the list really could go on and on.
Martha Stewart is definitely an idol of mine. I am so fascinated by her ability to organize every single square inch of a house. I am amazed at the way she can put together a simple yet elegant party, and don’t even get me started on the food. What a genius!! I would love to go to one of her events just to pick her brain for a few minutes. Ive heard her on a talk radio show called “wait wait don’t tell me”. She was so witty and funny I loved her even more after listening. Could it be a coincidence that she named her daughter Alexis too?? I think not, the woman’s just got style.
I love listening to Talk Radio. NPR has been a huge inspiration for me. Shows like Radio lab and the Splendid table have inspired me to be creative and pass along information to enlighten and inspire my fellow humans.
I’ve never done any kind of talk radio but I love to write and talk, so hey, Im sure I’m a natural

I grew up in a small town in Idaho, and like any small town girl I couldn’t wait to go exploring. I explored 11 states and 33 cities, I made a lot of great friends and had a whole lot of great experiences and my last place to explore was Maui and just so happens Maui is paradise and so I decided after all of that exploring that Id go ahead and plant my roots. I make my money by slinging booze at a country bar called The Stop Watch. I love working there cause it reminds me of the country bars from back home Its a comfortable feeling and it ain’t a bad job. When Im not pouring beers I’m running my own cleaning business called Sister Wife Cleaners.
Since moving to the islands Ive found a true love for Paddling a canoe competitively. I love sports and anything competitive and so paddling was a perfect fit for me. It is hard work, but it is fun work. Being in a canoe in the middle of the ocean is an intense adrenaline rush. You just never know what the ocean is gonna throw at ya. So far Ive came out alive of every race with only minor bruises and a lot of great stories to tell. The club I paddle with is called Na Kai Ewalu. There are five other women in the canoe paddling with me, we’ve paddled from Maui to Molokai, Lanai, and Oahu all hard paddles but fun as hell.
I also Love to play golf and so I was really excited when I got an opportunity to be an anchor for a local golf show called Da Game. Ive got some great on camera experience that I am excited to bring to the table for Lex & mais. There isn’t anything better than a cold beer and 18 holes of golf.
I am really looking forward to Lighten up with Lex & Mais. It is a really great time going into Inside out Universe Studio and talking into the Mic with Lex. We are here to Enlighten your day!
