What's Yo Status? Sex Appeal

What's Yo Status?

Sex Appeal

Today we talk sex appeal.  You know being sexy, whether it's to get the guy that you are crushing on or to spice things up with your current relationship.  Sexy is important cause lets face it ladies guys think with their dicks so sometimes you've gotta push up your tits.  But what do men really think is sexy?  Well according to allure.com you should wear red.  A bit of crimson has the power to put men in a lusty state of mind.  One study found they were 56% more likely to ask out a woman in a red top versus a white top.   But don't wear the color red on your lips according to a study found by allure.com, the lipstick shades men find most attractive are the neutrals and soft pinks.  Keep your Niki Minaj God awful bright pink lipstick in the drawer on the nights you're goin' out to meet that special someone.

On the contrary if you're  a person who's been in a relationship for a long time and you feel like spicing it up put on your cutest little black dress and go for the red on your lips.  It gives your man the illusion of being freshly fucked which makes him excited, he won't be able to keep his hands off of you all night.

We thought this was a really cute little black dress, perfect for the cold months.  Check out http://www.lulus.com/categories/page2/13_258/little-black-dress.html

So after you've got your outfit all picked out next you'll wanna choose the right perfume.  According to some perfumers the sexiest notes are lush flowers, vanilla and amber and powdery notes.  They specifically suggested Chanel no. 19, Dolce and Gabbana velvet sublime, and Tom Ford jasmine rouge.  Put a nice body powder over any exposed skin like your shoulders or your decollate where the light will naturally enhance it.

Now that you are looking sexy and you are smelling sexy and you're  out on the prowl don't forget to smile. A smile amps up how sexy you seem and it makes you more approachable.  Here's a great tip for being sexy, master your moves.  A slight curve of the spine is visually mind blowing.  Have your guy put on your necklace while you bend over slightly, maybe exaggerate your movements as you pick up your purse off the floor how about wearing your hair up exposing the curve of your neck.

Here's a little piece of great advice for the peeps who are in a committed relationships out there. Eliminate the word No, unless your partner is asking you to do something demeaning or abusive or illegal.  Try it out one day see how many times you are drawn to say no first to any of his requests.  Saying no makes your partner think that they're desires aren't important to you, when you say yes you set up an open environment where your partner will respond in kind to your requests.  Just say yes to sex!  Just be a ho and don't say no hahahahaha.  Another way to be super sexy is by using sexy words and phrases like "remember that time when we"….. or compliments really work great with men like "I love the way your arms look in this shirt" or "I've never noticed how beautiful your eyes are"  It sounds dorky but it works.  For more info on using the right words check out this book by Rachel Kramer Bussel called Irresistible:  Erotic romance for couples

We hope that these tips have helped you to be a sexy bitch!!

Get Stoopid with Lex and Mais

GET STOOPID

Netflix Pick:

This week we've been watching a pretty hilarious show on Netflix called the league.  It's a sitcom about a group of guys and one wife who get together and play fantasy football.  There's Pete Played by Mark Duplass who is a three time champion of their fantasy football league he's the guy that is always trying to trick his fellow footballers into picking the worst teammates so he can win, Kevin played Stephen Rannazzisi he's an district attorney and the league commissioner and he's Pete's best friend.  He is constantly getting help with the Fantasy football league, Rodney played by Rick Kroll is a product liability attorney and my favorite character he was a dork in school but grew up successful with a very hot wife.  He is constantly battling with trying to please his wife and trying to win at his fantasy football league.

Dr. Andre played by Paul Scheer is bald and rich and hilarious!  His friends are constantly making fun of him for his style of clothes and his need to use hip hop slang.Taco played by Jon Lajoie   He's Kevin's younger brother and he is hilarious!  He keeps a bong which he calls "guest bongs" in all of his friends houses so he can use them when he comes over.  Last but not least Jenny played by Katie Aselton.  She is Kevin's wife and she is just as enthusiastic to be a part of the fantasy football league as her husband.  Rafi is one of the guys friends who comes on the show occasionally and he is CRAZY! He is dirty and he is constantly getting boners.

Movie Pick:

So on New Years Day, when we are all battling our hangover from the night before, is a lazy movie day in my house. This year we watched several older goodies including the Goodfellas, but rented a newer movie on Amazon Prime called The Family.  If you haven't seen the Martin Scorseze film, you should.  Now I know we say that about a lot of the stuff we watch, but that's just because we have really good taste.  This movie is about a mafia boss and his family that are relocated to a little town in France with the witness protection program after snitching on the mob.  Though they have strict rules and surveillance operated by Agent Stansfield, who's played by Tommy Lee Jones, the family of four can't help but revert to their old habits.
The Blake family includes the dad Robert De Niro, a classic mob boss, the mom played by Michelle Pfeiffer, I absolutely love her Brooklyn accent, the daughter Dianna Argon, which is from the Glee series, and the son played by John D'Leo.  Watching the kids find their place in the high school is awesome.  I mean the daughter beats the shit out of a guy with a tennis racquet for even thinking about taking advantage of her.  And the brother is like a genius in reading people and figuring out their motives so he can get what he needs out of them all.  Its great.
Chaos ensues when the family ends up blowing their cover by solving their problems the only way they know how, by violence and blowing shit up! Their former mafia family, who's been searching for them and killing innocent families of four that resemble the Blake family, their fake name by the way, end up tracking them down and try to settling old scores.  It's a pretty action packed movie, and very entertaining.  We gave it three snaps.

Website Pick:

Our website for this week is a freaking awesomely hilarious podcast podcast.joerogan.net.  I most recently listened to a really awesome podcast that he did with Roseanne Barr.  It was hilarious and super informative.  I am a big Roseanne fan so I couldn't wait to hear what her take was on a lot of the heavy issues on our planet.   I really like Joe's style because he is open to a lot of different ideas.  He is definitely against GMO and big brother.  I just learned quite a bit about his take on Chem trails.  It's definitely worth the listen.

Though this particular podcast was about two hours, I couldn't stop listening to it. I as well liked Joe's take on chemtrails.  It's such a sensitive subject, and I thought he had some good points on it.  I never really cared for Roseanne Barr, except in her hilarious role on
Roseanne, but this made me change my mind.  Maybe it's because she's a fellow islander, maybe it's her trucker mouth syndrome, or maybe it's because I agree with a lot of the things she had to say.  Either way, y'all should educate yourselves and take a listen.

App Pick:

Our app of the week is similar to another app we've referenced on Lex & Mais, it's called Sound Hound.  It's kinda like shazam in the way that you can identify music.  You can hum it, sing it or play it.  It as well has headlines of featured artists, song streams, trending tracks and more. I like to be up to speed in the music world and this app is definitely a helper.
You can also get the lyrics to your favorite songs.  After sound hound deciphers the song you're inquiring about, you have the title artist lyrics, and it gives you the options of playing it for free in spotify, listening to it on iTunes radio, finding tour dates and tickets, launching the Pandora station, checking out the youtube videos and so much more.  I love shazam, but this app is just superior, which is $6.99, but free for a limited time.

Urban Dictionary Pick:

Fantasy Football:  A game for grown men that makes them regress back to childhood wherein they will turn on their best friends, argue to the death about anything, and become lifeless shells of their former selves.

Rick: You hear Tim got divorced, lost his house, and got committed?

Rod: Fantasy Football dude ..... Fantasy Football

What's Yo Status? New Years Resolutions

What's Yo Status?
New Years Resolutions

Today is all about New Year's Resolutions, we all make them and according to Forbes magazine 52% of resolution makers were confident that they would be able to achieve their goals, yet only 12% succeeded. How can you be a part of the 12% this year? Well we've got some ideas to help you stay committed to your goals.

The first thing is to get specific.  Instead of being so broad like saying " I want to save Money" be more specific and determine how much exactly you would want to save and what you are saving it for. Then visualize what good will come when you have met your goal.  Feel as though you've already accomplished it.

The next thing to do is write it down.  Write down the small steps that you'll need to take that will eventually lead you to your goal.

Make time- be sure to set aside ample amount of time for yourself to achieve your goals.  Try to be realistic with the time you set aside.

Move past doubt.  Pay attention to self sabotaging mind chatter.  Turn off the side of you that holds self doubt. If your thoughts don't support you in your goals, let them go.  Replace them with a positive mantra instead.

Get a partner to help encourage you.  In times of self doubt its always good to call a friend to lift your spirits and give you the encouragement that you need to help you keep going.  FORTITUDE!!

Be still, you'll be more likely to skip on your goals when you are stressed so spend time every day getting out of your thoughts and recommitting with yourself.  The more practice you have being still and calm the more present youll  be for each step of achieving your goals.

Good luck with those resolutions friends.

Food For Health: Cabbage

Food For Health

Cabbage

It's time to get healthy, especially with the New Year here which of course  means New Years Resolutions.  Usually at the top of our list is eat a better diet and workout so why not put cabbage on your grocery list this month.  It is in season right now and it's super healthy for you.

Cabbage can be eaten raw or cooked.  Cabbage contains a powerful antioxidant which is responsible for detoxing your liver.  Cabbage is rich in vitamin C.  The vitamin A in cabbage can help with skin problems like eczema, psoriasis, acne, and insect bites.  You create a poultice by grating the cabbage in a blender and wrap the content mixed with water in a cloth.  Place on the affected area for 15 minutes.  Got acne? If you steam the leaves of cabbage and place them on your face for about 15 minutes it'll leave your skin all cleared up by morning.  Cabbage is equally beneficial for your hair.

It's filled with calcium, sulfur, iron, and magnesium.  Applying a mixture of boiled cabbage and freshly squeezed lemon juice on your scalp can promote hair growth.  Mash 1/2 cup boiled cabbage and 1/8 cup of fresh lemon juice in a blender to form a thick paste, massage the paste into your scalp and leave on for 30 minutes.  Shampoo and condition your hair as usual.  Drinking raw cabbage juice is beneficial for dry hair.

Cabbage helps prevent cancer, its an immune booster,  it has anti-inflammatory properties, prevents cataracts, reduces the risk of alzheimers, helps treatment of ulcers, assists in weight loss, provides relief from constipation, and it provides relief from sore muscles.  For more information on the benefits of cabbage for your health check out our blog or our website for the link to stylecraze.com.

For all of you fellow gardeners out there cabbage is pretty easy to grow if you want to add it to your garden.  Cabbage thrives in cool weather.  You can buy starts but cabbage is easy to grow from seed.  Plant outside when the temperature is 50 degrees and there are three leaves on the starts.  The farther apart you plant them the bigger the head of the cabbage will be.  Avoid wetting the leaves when you water to help prevent disease.  Cut back on watering as cabbage matures.  If leaves start to yellow, provide a midseason nitrogen boost with compost tea.

What's Yo Status? She Wee and Poo Pourri

What's Yo Status?

Shee Wee

The she wee allows you to pee standing up, like a dude. It comes with it's own little carrying case, where inside you'll find a funnel like cup and a tube. You simply connect the tube to the funnel cup, undo your pants, place the cup under your vagina and pee....You gotta start slow otherwise you'll have a mess on your hands. All in all it works pretty great.

We've had a 75% success rate with the sheewee! which we think is pretty great, especially after some beers. It's a really great product for camping or some music festivals, even the side of the road on the way home from work at 3am...u know when either there's no bathroom or u don't wanna set foot in the portapot!

Poo Pourri

This product is called poo pourri, and let me tell you, it's amazing! A definite 100 out of 100 score in our book...this shit works every time.  Poo pourri, is nice little bottle of mixed essential oils and other natural ingredients that you spray into the toilet before you make your business.

Once you drop the kids off at the pool the pleasant aromas are released and the nasty poop scents are trapped below the poo pourri barrier.

You can buy this poopourri online or over the phone, and it comes in several flavors. Which FYI, great customer service. We tried out the original scent & déjà poo. We also had a few of our guy friends try out the flavors royal flush and trap a crap. They were very pleased, as well as their special lady friends, due to the fact that they didn't have to smell their poop. This holiday season you can order Santa poo and secret Santa. Each bottle has a little pooetry on the label that is just as whitty as the names of the scents.

Definitely check this product out it has the Lex and Mais stamp of approval, as well as many many other. They've sold over 4 million bottles, have received a 4.8 out of 5 stars and are beginning to go viral on social media. The commercial in itself sells the shit out of the idea.

If you order a package deal, they'll send you a free travel sized poo pourri which comes in handy anywhere! They also have a pet spray, shoe deodorizer, kid friendly poo pourri & potty training book and tons of other hilarious scents. We want it all, but mostly shittin pretty! Check these guys out on all your social media, they're awesome!
