New Years Resolutions
Today is all about New Year's Resolutions, we all make them and according to Forbes magazine 52% of resolution makers were confident that they would be able to achieve their goals, yet only 12% succeeded. How can you be a part of the 12% this year? Well we've got some ideas to help you stay committed to your goals.
The first thing is to get specific. Instead of being so broad like saying " I want to save Money" be more specific and determine how much exactly you would want to save and what you are saving it for. Then visualize what good will come when you have met your goal. Feel as though you've already accomplished it.
The next thing to do is write it down. Write down the small steps that you'll need to take that will eventually lead you to your goal.
Make time- be sure to set aside ample amount of time for yourself to achieve your goals. Try to be realistic with the time you set aside.
Move past doubt. Pay attention to self sabotaging mind chatter. Turn off the side of you that holds self doubt. If your thoughts don't support you in your goals, let them go. Replace them with a positive mantra instead.
Get a partner to help encourage you. In times of self doubt its always good to call a friend to lift your spirits and give you the encouragement that you need to help you keep going. FORTITUDE!!
Be still, you'll be more likely to skip on your goals when you are stressed so spend time every day getting out of your thoughts and recommitting with yourself. The more practice you have being still and calm the more present youll be for each step of achieving your goals.
Good luck with those resolutions friends.
GOOD Talk!!
