Pumpkin Pie Smoothie
Secret Weapon #1 tofu. For those of you who don't have anything against soy, tofu is an awesome thickener. It's great because you can put tofu with just about anything and it will take on the flavor of what you are putting it with. It also gives the smoothie a creamy yummy texture, but dont add too much or you'll make your smoothie all funky. Secret Weapon #2 Pumpkin puree we usually only use pumpkin for pies but it's really super healthy for you so throw it in your pumpkin smoothie. We use quinoa in our house for a lot of different things because it is packed in protein and as being mostly vegetarians we need that good for you protein but who would've thought it could be a sweet treat too?
