Website Of The Week
Realfoodmoms.com
realfoodmoms.com is jam packed with everything for the busy health-conscious mom from basic nutrition to recipes and even a little pantry organization. I like how she puts it best: "Moms want to give the best to their children. Our goal is to help you not only change your life, but give your children (the next generation) a better life too. Gift them a chance to live longer and significantly improve their quality of life. Also, don't forget that happy, relaxed moms equal happy, relaxed children – in most cases. (Sorry for any exceptions)."
The website face is Tracee Yablan Brenner, she's a registered dietician, so she knows a little bit about nutrition. The motto of the website is new solutions for a better life. And it really is just that. Along with the recipes on the blog, the website advertises a book titled, Simple foods for busy families There's also a link to somehow get the best organized pantry for $7. Sign me up! I mean she as well advertises my idol Martha Stewart with a direct link to her website. When in doubt, ask Martha!
Netflix Pick of the Week
Wayne's World
We haven't seen this movie in quite some time and we watched it with our kids. It's probably not appropriate for everyone's kids, as my son was walking around the house shwinging everything...
But we love Wayne's world, and can totally relate to their super small unpopular show that blows up into awesomeness.
App of the Week:
Bitstrips
This App is AWESOME!! You make your own avatar, you find your friends on facebook who as well have avatars, you star in a comic strip featuring you and your friends, you share it for everyone else to see so they to can have a laugh. It's just so much fun.
Urban Dictionary Word of the Week:
Our Urban Dictionary Word is Pumpkin, meaning: One who doesn't rally past a certain time or stays in altogether when friends are going out to party...
